Regulations for Students Research Paper Publishing Award ollege of Informatics, Yuan Ze University
第一條 Article 1
為鼓勵資訊學院各系所學生專心從事研究，以提升學術水準，特訂定本辦法。
Purpose: The Regulations for Student Research Paper Publishing Award was formulated to encourage students in the College of Informatics (hereafter referred to as the College) to engage in research with an aim to promote superior academic accomplishments.
第二條 Article 2
本獎勵金不限名額，凡本院在學學生，所提之論文必須於在學期間內完成，並以本院名義發表，每篇論文以獎勵一人次為限，由各系所主管推薦，向資訊學院申請。
Eligibility: Unlimited number of awards can be applied by students who are currently enrolled in the College and have successfully published research papers on behalf of the College. Applicants (individuals or in teams) need to apply with the recommendation from their Department Chair in the College. For each paper published, applicants would be awarded one time only.
第三條 Article 3
期刊論文，係指發表或接受於SCI/SSCI/A&HCI及相當等級之期刊論文者，申請人應檢具論文全文影本、發表證明及推薦函，經審查委員會審查通過，報請資訊學院院長核定後發給獎勵金。
Journal papers: Journal papers refer to research papers that have been submitted to and accepted by a journal listed in the SCI/SSCI/A&HCI indexes. Applicants need to provide a copy of the published paper, certificate of publication, and letters of recommendation. After the approval from the Evaluation Committee of the College, the list of the awardees will be submitted to the Dean of the College to ratify the decision and the awards will be distributed.
第四條 Article 4
國際會議論文，係指出國參加國際會議或參加由國際組織在國內所舉辦之國際會議發表研究成果，申請人應檢具會議論文全文影本、本人發表證明（口頭報告）及推薦函，經審查委員會審查通過，報請資訊學院院長核定後發給獎勵金。
Conference papers: Conference papers refer to research results presented in an international conference held in or out of the country. Applicants need to provide a copy of the paper, certificate of publication (oral presentation), and letters of recommendation. After approval by the Evaluation Committee in the College, the list of the awardees will be submitted to the Dean of the College to ratify the decision and the awards will be distributed.
第五條 Article 5
申請時間為當學年起至隔年六月底止，論文發表時間需在當學年度內 (8/1至隔年6/30)。
Application period: Applications will be accepted after the school academic year starts until June next year. The paper must be published in the same academic year (August 1 to June 30 of the next year).
第六條 Article 6
由各系所各推派一位教師組成審查委員會，進行論文審查及獎勵金額分配。每人每學年至多申請一篇。
Awardee approval and issuance: One professor in each department of the College will be appointed to form the Approval Committee in the College, which will determine the awardees and allocation of the awards. Applicants could only apply for the award once every academic year.
第七條 Article 7
本辦法經院務會議通過後公布施行，修正時亦同。
This set of details was approved at the Meeting of Administrative Executives in the College before implementation. All amendments shall follow the same procedures.
